I recently tried the Echo - Mirrored Screen protector and though I promised to peel it off straight away I decided to wait until Proporta sent a replacement they offered in the form of their Advanced Screen Protector, and I'm glad I did.

This is the third screen protector I've applied and the system is pretty much the same. Peal off various covers from the cover, then use supplied card smooth the sheet onto the iPhone. Provided you're in a dust-free environment that'll work just fine. My house however is not that perfect and I've always managed to get a few specs between the glass and the plastic. They're not air gaps so you can't squeeze them to the edge, and peeling back the protector to get to the particles always, without fail, lets more in. But I prefer that than having the bare screen exposed to whatever elements I leave in my pockets or scuba diving bag.

I've been search for something like the Proporta Advanced Screen Cover for quite a while. It takes a bit of the gloss off the screen, effectively applying a matte finish and making it much more readable when there are bright things behind you trying to be caught in the reflection. It's easy on the fingers, dragging doesn't grip or slide too much, it's just perfect. It must be a fraction smaller than the glass section of the iPhone, less than a millimeter, but it's enough that it doesn't over hang either side which is important because I had to ditch my first screen cover (manufacturer unknown) when it stuff started to get under the edges, then it began to lift and eventually it would catch on the edge of my pocket and peel right back catching all the lint it could.

I would definitely recommend this cover.

P.S. I'm kidding about the scuba diving bag, everyone knows you only take your iPhone diving with one of these
