Finally a bit of inside history for Homegrown readers! The app idea came after a bit of brainstorming before heading off to Chile for several weeks where I was to spend time with my family. I worked on it on my iMac for a few weeks. When it started shaping up some early feedback gave further ideas and a couple of things were re-done in a much better way. The first released version was solid and since then the aim is to up the quality and feature set each release without sacrificing simplicity and ease of use. And the next planned app feature? Quite possibly something to do with device pairing...
