Use Stage Hand to control your Keynote presentations from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Stage Hand also shows the presenter notes for your current slide, for those moments when you need a prompt. Stage Hand is downloaded onto the iPhone and Stage Manager is downloaded onto the computer. Running both programs then allows the computer to be selected on the iPhone which in turn shows a code that has to be entered in the computer to complete the pairing. Once paired then the Keynote that is running immediately shows it up on the iPhone and unlike using the remote that comes with most late model computers, the iPhone as a remote has the advantage of selecting a slide out oforder or any slide you want.

Well thought out and very handy app for Keynote Presentations. While i have used it a couple of times there are probably more streamlined ways of setting up with the iPhone but others will have to review that.

Turning the iPhone into Landscape repeats in miniature on the iPhone screen what is on the current slide and then the good bit - if you place your finger on an area of the slide that is currently on the screen of the iPhone it also places a similar highlighted area on currently projected slide. That means you can continue to face the audience and see exactly what you are doing. In the latest version of the software the size of the highlight is able be varied by the pinch or expand action in the settings area. One other warning, my first attempt was using a presentation of a black background with at white font. While it worked well, the highlight suffered due lack of contrast. Now i have not tried this with a Bluetooth connection, but i just carted my Airport Express along with me plugged that into the 230v - without a internet connection - and allowed both iPhone and Laptop to connect as normal thru the express on their own LAN

Stage Hand was $10.99NZ but Stage Manager was free, but in my opinion well worth it as they are a dynamic pair.
