Apple gets its multi touch patent

Apple has been awarded a key "multi touch" patent on its iPhone. This is being reported by multiple websites, such as AppleInsider. The patent references numerous other patents, with Steve Jobs listed among the first inventors, but the significance of this patent may be in litigation that ,ay come from it. Apple have publicly stated that they will pursue any company that breaches patent or infringes copyright.
