Apple releases 3.0.1 update with SMS fix

Hot on the heels of some well-covered publicity about an SMS exploit in the iPhone, Apple have released a 298Mb 3.0.1 update for iPhone users. As mentioned here, the issue concerned receiving a maliciously crafted SMS message that could lead to an unexpected service interruption or arbitrary code execution.
