Apple tells us the top Apps for 2008

Apple have today made available within iTunes, lists of the top apps for 2008. You can view them in iTunes by clicking here. Whilst many of them are to be expected, some surprise ensue, such as the success of Google Earth even though it hasn't be out very long. MobileCrunch has the listings on their site with comments.
