Gift this app - Let's do some giveaways!

Apple have released a new feature into the App Store that I think is superb and simple...the ability to gift an application to someone else (see the image later in this article) and to celebrate, I'm going to dust the cobwebs off the wallet and gift 10 apps to lucky users of the site...but you have to be quick. The "Gift This App" feature allows you to circumvent the only other way previously of gifting to others (the gift cards) and instead, give just one app to someone you know with an iTunes account...so read on on how you can win BIG !

OK...I'm joking about that last bit, as it's a fairly hectic week and I just wanted to have a bit of quick and cheap fun with the new feature...so here's the offer...10 people will get the $1.29 app of their choice from the NZ App Store. Yes I know, big spender.

So here's what to do...

  • Email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with the subject heading "Gift Me an App big spender!"
  • Include an iTunes link to any $1.29 app in the NZ iTunes Store (I'll be buying from there so assume I have to buy from the NZ store and you'll need to be able to download the app from that store)
  • Provide your email account for iTunes (note - it must be for your iTunes account)

Rules

  • One submission per iTunes account
  • Closes at 8pm this Thursday March 25, 2010 (sorry, off on holiday for a week the next day)
  • Apps will be purchased from the iTunes NZ app store
  • Apps that are not $1.29 on Thursday night will not be purchased

Just to let you know, I don't have time to acknowledge every email coming in, so please be assured I am receiving them and I'll send out apps on Thursday evening.
