iPhone 4S available on November 5th in NZ

Apple today announced that iPhone 4S will be available in New Zealand on the 5th of November (Saturday). Preorders can be taken online on Friday already from the Apple online store or through authorised Apple resellers in New Zealand.

The recommended retailer prices are as follows:

• $1,049 inc GST for the iPhone 4S 16GB model
• $1,199 inc GST for the iPhone 4S 32GB model
• $1,349 inc GST for the iPhone 4S 64GB model

I'm getting the 64gb black model as soon as the website will allow me to. After last years effort of apple's stock dwindling so rapidly, and since it will be my only camera over the Christmas break with my young kids at my parents, I want to make sure I'm in quickly. My 3Gs is just getting dated, so this will be a welcome update, pity it's taken so long. I just wish my mate would stop hassling me about not buying an equivalent Android device for almost half the price (I know my phone will command a much better resale value than his when I plan to upgrade. One of the many things I like about the Apple family of products) So that's a "Hell yes!"
