TechCrunch has highlighted the fact that the App Store has finally received a lick of paint. iTunes 9 brought in new functionality under the hood of iTunes by using webkit, but the app pages to date have received little change. As you'll see by the image after the break, that is now changed. I like the new look and it is gradually being propagated across the iTunes App Store.

Macrumors (http://www.macrumors.com/) highlight the changes....

- Much larger icon is shown
- Multiple screenshots are more obvious to viewer
- App description is truncated to the first 2 lines by default. While users can expand to see the rest of the description, many will likely not. This places much more importance on the first two lines of the App's description
- More apps by the same developer are listed automatically

Yeah I think the new look is an improvement. Just generally more spacious it feels.

I love the snow flakes on your site by the way! Nice touch, especially how they settle at the bottom of the window… very cool!

Took me hours of coding smilies/wink.gif

Either that or I just installed a module for Joomla. Actually it has a fireworks setting too..with sound effects, but last time I activated that I scared myself when I forgot I had that switched on.
