After a long wait, it's finally here; a jailbreak for the iPad 2. And not just any jailbreak, this one is so simple it's not even funny. You don't even need to restart the iPad, let alone connect it to the computer. It's as simple as heading over to jailbreakme.com and pressing install.
Depending on your connection speed, you could be jail broken in 20 seconds. It's even simpler than installing an app from the app store, and I can confirm that it works flawlessly on iPad 2, firmware 4.3.3. Be in quick though, since it won't be long before Apple releases an update to fix the hole in security. Can we expect an iOS 4.3.4? Well, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see it any week. So if you've been considering jailbreaking for a while and haven't wanted to take the plunge, then now's your chance. I hear it's good for the iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.3 as well, but I haven't tested that myself.
