Apple has developed a new cover to match the iPad 2. This Smart Cover is available in ten colors and can be magnetically attached to the iPad. It covers and protects the 2nd Generation iPad in a highly optimal fashion. When the Smart Cover is opened, it automatically switches the iPad on!! If the Smart Cover goes down then the iPad switches itself off... Comfortable, useful, and Apple-like - it also protects the
battery. Thanks to the Smart Cover it is now easy to support the iPad at a good viewing angle. Ideal for surfing, writing, and viewing videos or pictures.
The Smart Cover will be released at the same time as the iPad 2 and will be available at all Apple retailers. A total of ten different colors are available. Five out of five plastic and leather. There is also a RED Smart Cover. The purchase of this accessory supports the Global Found in the fight against HIV / AIDS in Africa. The price of the leather version is 69 USD (not sure about NZ pricing yet), the other variants cost around 39 USD.
