This is your chance to win $75 NZ iTunes credit, simply by submitting a review into the NZiPhone.com website by the end of August 2009. All you have to do is submit either a review of a New Zealand app (developed by one the developers in the new Homegrown section) or any other app or iPhone related piece of hardware. For each review, you'll get a certain number of entries into the draw for the prize.
- Brand new listing, with images, app details and review - Homegrown app - 3 entries into the draw
- Brand new listing, with images, app details and review - non-NZ app - 2 entries into the draw
- New review added to existing listing/review - 1 entry into the draw
Note - 1 entry may be deducted if you do not submit a lot of information. Sorry, that's mean I know...but I often end up having to go and find the company web address or iTunes link that you were meant to submit during the whole process. Please take the time to gather the information for the benefit of everyone. I won't be that mean though, I promise.
Listings versus reviews??
On the site, when you log in, you can do one of two things:
- Add a listing + review for a new item
- Add a review to an existing listing/review
A listing is all the information about the application or product. This gets entered in if it is the first time that the application (for example) will appear....and requires some more work, images etc. It also requires a review at the same time.
If the game or product is already listed, then all you have to do is add another review...so it's less work.
Any tips?
Yep...you're going to have the best chance if you're the first to review a homegrown app before anyone else. You've got a great chance if you review an app or product not reviewed yet....and your chances are kinda good if you're adding a review to an existing listing and review.
Note
- You can't review or own product or be associated with the product under review in any way please.
- At the end of this week I will be travelling to the States for 9 days....so if you review is not immediately published, please don't panic. I'll either be on a plane, shopping or...mostly...learning all the secrets that Adobe are willing to tell me after signing an NDA!
