Ever wished you could swing your iPhone around like a lightsaber? Well now you can, with PhoneSaber. Simply swing around your iPhone and lightsaber sound effects are emitted from the speakers.

PhoneSaber is a very simple, useless, and fun application which turns your iPhone into a lightsaber. All you have to do is turn it on, choose which colour lightsaber you'd like to use (out of blue, yellow, pink, red, and green) and then swing it around. A long swoosh will make a corresponding sound, and a quick jab or strike will make a jab or strike sound. You can also withdraw and put away your saber. This application works best with the iPhone, as sound effects can come from the internal speakers for maximum effect, however iPod Touch users can use it with headphones attached - only you'll be the only person who can hear it.

A "Must-have" for all Star Wars fans, and hey, even if you are like me, and don't care for the movies it's good fun too.

This a great fun little application which is completely and utterly useless, but cool none the less. Unfortunately, I only have an iPod Touch, so it's fun, but you can't really show friends and stuff unless you take turns. If you had an iPhone however, I believe the audio comes out loud so that would be really cool!

The look of the application isn't really pretty, but the sounds are great, and that's what it's all about. It's also cleaver how it makes different noises depending on how you swing your iPhone/iPod Touch around.

This app serves it's purpose very well!
