I'm glad that there's finally a proper AIM application for my iPod Touch, cause using a Web-App just isn't the same. This works pretty well but it's not perfect. It would be nice to have the ability to type on the keyboard in landscape mode as this is faster, and also the interface is a little bit iffy.
Also, at the moment if you leave the application then you don't get any of those alert icon things (as what happens when you receive a message in Mail) which Apple promised, although this feature is coming in an update from Apple soon. (September I think.)
Anyway, it should only improve, and it's certainly worth having this app.
