WeDict is a free dictionary program for your iPhone or iPod Touch. It supports al the stardict dictionary. This version including a basic English - Chinese dictionary and the WordNet® 2.0 English Dictionary.
It contains over 149,000 words in WordNet® 2.0 Dictionary, and over 51,000 words in basic English - Chinese dictionary.
It's easy to use; just type in the word your after, and as you type words start appearing so there's no need to hit the search button. Just pick the word you were after and WeDict displays it's meaning.

I was always wondering why Apple didn't include a Dictionary App in the iPhone and iPod Touch, but now there's WeDict which is quick and easy to use. It's not the most visually attractive app, but it does the job. Also, if you need it, it can also do English - Chinese which is cool for some people.
Definitely worth having this app - it's lighter than carrying the full Oxford Dictionary around. :P
