Speedtest is a very simple and easy to use application for your iPhone or iPod Touch that allows you to test the speed of your wireless internet connection.First off, it will test your Download Speed, and display that, before testing your Upload Speed. All you have to do to run the test is to tap the button labelled 'Start Speedtest'.Speedtest will test the internet speed on WiFi, 3G, and EDGE networks, and is great for comparing different WiFi networks, or evaluating your wireless carrier.

This app is really easy to use - only really one button to run the tests. Unfortunately however, although the picture attached shows nice super fast speeds, we aren't quite so lucky here, so I was getting a miserable 118Kb/second... That's telecom's fault though, not speedtest's.

Overall, great app. The interface leaves a little to be desired... a nice meter or gauge would be nice, however it does what it should. Plus it's free, as an added bonus.
